Food Porn Friday | Ecco | Costa Mesa

Friday, November 11, 2011

Heralded as one of the Top 10 restaurants in OC by Orange Coast Magazine, I've been wanting to taste test Ecco's claim to fame gourmet pizzas since they took over my former favorite Camp outpost Aire Restaurant this past spring.

Seriously such big shoes to fill since I've celebrated many a date nights there with the boo, but I digress. Ecco feels like a trendy pop-up gastro pub complete with brick lined walls and boasting one of the best wine offerings to pair with their down home authentic true Neapolitan pizza.

Crushed San Marzano tomatoes, imported ingredients from Italy, and farm fresh, organically grown veggies and herbs all baked in a traditional wood-fired oven...sounds yummy right??

I only got to sample 2 out of their 11 specialties, but from the smell of their signature Ecco burrata and squash ones, you know I'll be back for more!

*Insider's tip: We live in the land of patio dining and Ecco has one of the cutest and coziest outdoor spaces around. Book your next party here and you and yo' peeps can have the entire place to yourselves!*

I'm off to Vegas for the night so hopefully 11-11-11 brings me much needed luck on the slots!

Enjoy an incredible weekend y'all!

  21. Multicolor Monogram handbags are not as expensive as the real LV Antheia Hobohandbags. Most women want to be fashionable because it improves their self esteem and self image. Well, not all women can afford to buy the real, expensive Antheia Hobo handbag. Buying Antheia Ixia handbags is not bad. There are Ixia MM handbags which are made from high quality materials and comparable to the original one. A woman that can’t afford to buy even one real or Artsy GMhandbag can now have more than one Ixia MM handbag.
