Garden Walk

Thursday, July 19, 2012

I remember visiting the Hollywood Walk of Fame for the first time. I thought it was sooooo dang cool to be up front and center in the hubbub of celebrity kingdom marveling at the hand and footprints of such notable icons. I’ve always wanted to admire the epicenter up close and personal having grown up in SoCal all my life. Too bad it only took me an entire 18 years to get there. Sometimes you take for granted all the awesome sights and sounds of your surroundings, especially when they're just a hop, skip, and jump away.

Yet here we were, for my birthday, chartering a Celebrity Tours shuttle bus to drive us around town ogling star mansions and stopping by major hotspots. Sure it was super lame, but sometimes it’s just nice to play tourist for the day. Even if that means touring in your own backyard :D

{Ensemble: Arden B. top, F21 pants, A/X leather satchel, vintage belt and sunnies}

I guess it wasn't ALL that touristy...we were able to stop by the infamous Greystone Gardens for photo ops. You can literally see all of LA from this vantage point. So gorge! If you haven't been, plan to pack a picnic for the day, cop a squat and simply relish in the beauty that is Beverly Hills...dude, we're soooo spoiled by SoCal!

...just gotta take a minute to appreciate it sometimes, ya know?!

Thanks for reading y'all!
Weekend's almost here...whoohooooo!
