Trend Spotting | Cyan and Magenta

July’s here y’all and you know what that means…Birthday month, whoohooooo!!! Another year older means another party to plan! Totally prepping for some seriously ca-ca-caRAZY bashes but first, gotta collate everything that’s been on my radar lately to inspire my next event. Starting with one of my all-time FAVE color stories: Blues and pinks!

For those who seem to meander between light and dark, feminine and masculine, this androgynous combination has been seen in everything from fashion and art to design and décor. Use pinks sparingly as an accent or all-over to amp up the glam factor. Notice how hot pinks seem to vibrate against dramatic blues even in the smallest of dosages…A tried and true testament to the energizing power of color y’all. Now it’s just a matter of developing this puppy from paper to partayyyyy!

Happy Monday y'all!
Hope it's an awesome start to a brand new month!

Loving this collage! Did you know that pink was originally made for boys? It was "light red" for boys and blue for girls... At some point, it was named pink and changed sex (^_^) x
