|Making Your Own Invitations|

If you don’t know by now, 365Hangers asked yours truly to break down my 7 best tips for throwing a holiday party for less. It’s been plastered all over my FACEBOOK here and 365Hanger’s blog here. Those whom liked/ commented/ shared the posts were automatically entered to win a $25 gift card to shop designer looks for less on 365Hangers.

I had such a blast documenting the daily posts with corresponding copy and pictures, I thought what better way to spread the love than right here on this blog with more tips and tricks to make your holidays merry and bright??!!! Not sure where to start? How about with a little DIY invite that costs almost NOTHING to make and packs more punch than Hallmark ever could!

Building anticipation is one of the most integral parts of holiday planning! For a super simple DIY invite, use red grosgrain or velvet ribbon to wrap the cardstock as you would a gift. Keep the theme consistent by using the prominent color found in your holiday décor. Finish by tying tiny bells or a sprig of rosemary in the knot. Your guests will delight at the sound of the jingle and smell of the herb even before getting the deets…A feast for all the senses!

Join me ALL week for additional tips on holiday decorating for less that you didn’t see on my Facebook! At the end of the 7 days, I’ll be hosting a SUPERFAB, SUPER HUGE giveaway in case you missed it the first time around! Better tips, better prizes! WIN-WIN!

Happy Monday hunnies!
Hope your week's off to the most productive start!
