How stunning is this silky, slinky little wrap dress? Can you believe it’s only $28?!?!

It was the perfect piece to rock at the Joyful Child Foundation Gala last weekend in Newport Beach. You guys peeped my Instagram stories where I had the honor of donating my design services to conceptualize, style, and install thirty coastal glam floral centerpieces for this nonprofit charity foundation that my bestie Debbie is affiliated with.

I am a firm believer that you don’t have to pay beaucoup bucks to look and feel great. This Shein Wrap dress is only $28 guys. Yup, you read that right, under $30 for this gorgeous dress that moves so beautifully coming or going. I had SO many people stopping me to ask where I bought this dress! All you need is some gilded accessories to really take the look up a notch.

About the Joyful Child Foundation

From the website HERE:

The Joyful Child Foundation—In Memory of Samantha Runnion is a 501 (c)(3) not for profit organization founded in 2002 after the abduction, molestation and murder of five-year old Samantha Runnion. In order to prevent child sexual abuse and abduction The Joyful Child Foundation will:

  • Be the resource for concerned parents to engage in the movement to stop predatory crimes against children.
  • Provide proactive education and empowerment tools to children and parents.
  • Facilitate collaboration among individuals, non- profit organizations, schools, businesses, and government to create sustainable community initiatives to ensure that safety education for child protection continue in perpetuity.

THEIR MISSION

The Joyful Child Foundation’s goal is to ensure that every child is exposed to personal safety education and opportunities to practice in order to cultivate each child’s instinctual response to recognize, avoid, and if necessary, physically resist and escape inappropriate behaviors or violence.  To meet this challenge, they have developed programs for parents and children to effectively reach every community.

The Joyful Child trains teachers, non-profit partners, and law enforcement agencies to deliver our programs to children and parents.  Contributions support our programs and sponsor trainings for those who cannot afford them.

Do you guys remember the story of Samantha’s abduction over 15 years ago? It made national headline news and even decades after her horrific murder I am still haunted by the images of a helpless little girl who tried desperately to fight her way out. I attended the Joyful Feast Gala last year as a guest and donated a gift certificate for my interior design services but knew that given a chance I wanted to give back and do more this year.

If you want to learn more about the Joyful Child Foundation, how to volunteer your services, or make a donation to help educate children, families, and your community, visit their website HERE.
