It’s been a minute since I’ve posted some food porn up in here but it doesn’t mean I haven’t been eating up a storm!

More than I have been making time to post so here it comes hunnies! Buckle your belts dahlin’ we eatin’ some scrumptious greasy ooey gooey Chinese food today! Courtesy of one of my newest discoveries in Las Vegas-

Joyful House Chinese Cuisine!

On the Menu

Featuring a menu of mostly Cantonese dishes like Clams in Black Bean Sauce (a crowd favorite), Fermented fish tofu stew (one of MY favorites), and Walnut Shrimp (a wedding staple), it’s no wonder that Joyful House was voted the BEST Chinese Restaurant of Las Vegas 2014 by the Las Vegas Review Journal with a cool feature on Food Network’s Hungry Detective edition!  It’s familiar family style home cooking that’s made just like yo’ mama’s mama back home.
That’s some heavy accolades in these parts!  Peep out these pix and tell me you’re not drooling while scrolling…

I swear it doesn’t matter how many hundreds of times I’ve visited Vegas, there’s always new (albeit old) amazing eateries to venture out and try!   Just a tip:  Get AWAY from the strip y’all!
Las Vegas’ Chinatown is always popping up new dining spots, some of which become HIGH on my foodie hitlist with every return!

  1. OH wow! YUMMY!!! Thanks for coming by my blog recently! I've been so busy with my new job that my blogging has slowed down, finally getting around to visiting now! The chicken, fried prawns, fried tofu and rice looked so good! Nothing beats having a huge spread of asian goodies to share with a large group so everyone gets to eat a bit of everything! Also I'm loving the new layout, my blog is in need of a make over soon!
