Move over chintz, chinoiserie is making a comeback in interiors and fashion!

What is Chinoiserie?

chi·noi·se·rie
/ˌSHēnˌwäzəˈrē,ˌSHēnˈwäz(ə)rē/
noun

You know it when you see it… embroidered florals and nature designs applied on textiles, furnishings, and now all over fashion runways.  Not that being Asian has anything to do with it, but what I love about the chinoiserie pattern is how it blends beautifully when mixing prints or combining colors.  Dressed up with tailored slacks or dressed down with ripped denim, chinoiserie is carving its way into the fashion mainstream as we speak.
