Continuation of our weekend in Portland, Oregon for my best friend’s wedding.

Day vs. Night

Light and bright for day, sexy and slinky for night.

Styling Tips

I opted for pleated chiffon in the brightest color I could find easily zeroing on coral as it is the hottest hue of the summer. Love how the slight asymmetrical shape billows in the breeze allowing each stride to sashay around like I’m floating on air. I topped this vintage look off with gilded gold accents glamming it up for day without screaming overkill. Especially when the night look for the reception is clearly the star….

The Score

I almost cried happy tears when I dug up this gorgeous slip dress at my local TJ Maxx runway from Juicy Couture. Fitted and just the perfect amount of formal for an outdoor reception on a vineyard. I would normally deem the graphic black and white chevron print wayyyy too casual for a wedding but when cut on the bias and paired with oversized florals and chain links galore, it was like Juicy knew just what the doctor ordered for festive occasion like this. The playful pattern ultimately did wonders for my athletic shape as she hugged my petite figure and accentuated it in all the right places. Really making it seem like I had some curves when clearly I don’t. Ahhhh the power of fashion…Don’t ya just love it when that happens?? 😀

Which look would you rock to a wedding?

Day or Night??
