Thank you for all your support my loves, it’s been quite a tumultuous week here with personal matters taking center stage before work, the blog, or my social obligations.
I received extremely ecstatic news of a new birth and spent the morning celebrating this momentous occasion and by nightfall was crushed by the sudden loss of my best friend’s amazing, AMAZING father. Life is funny in this way. You take the good, you take the bad but after the day is done all you have is your health, your hopes, and your beating heart.
It’s times like these that I am humbled by the story of life. Where there’s a beginning, there’s an imminent end. So celebrate in love, rejoice in family, and hold on tight to your friends for they are the pieces of your existence that deserve honest and open praise. Without y’all, I’d seriously be a walking zombie.

Mind you, a zombie who eats way too well for her own good. Don’t believe me? Peep out another one of the infamous Chef’s Bet Dinners made by friends, presented to friends, and ultimately a testament to what TRUE friendship is all about…effort and gratitude.

  1. Whoa, I don't think I've ever seen so many delicacies in one place, this looks super yummy… and so chic! You seemed to have a fabulous time, love that oyster pic! Thanks for stopping by, sweetheart, yes, Pat Field is awesome and no, the prices aren't that outrageous, about 60 for a sweater isn't too bad I'd say 😉 xoxo
